Das Kreuz mit der Alleinwirksamkeit Gottes die Theologie des Nürnberger Reformators und protestantischen Erzketzers Andreas Osiander im Horizont der Theosis-Diskussion
Buch

Osiander´s tenor is based on the idea of God´s substantially sole and exclusive effectiveness whose extent almost wholly supersedes the forensic-relational aspects of justification. Thus his theological phenotype is to be located between speculative idealism and the Greek Theosis tradition. Yet, especially Osiander´s proximity to the theosophicaltradition underlines his deficits. A latent, and almost seemingly postmodern virtuality runs through his theological system, i. e. a certain propensity to feed the data material of the classical doctrine of reconciliation into the circuit of a huge theological simulation. And it isexactly this liking inro abstraction which in the end discredits the thought of the reformer from Nuremberg and late professor at Koenigsberg University: that is to say, the question of the technical aspect of the doctrine of justification in which the personal relation between God and man disappears behind a listing and classifying of ontic effects.
