Defectus ordinis? Zum Verhältnis von Bischofsamt und Pfarramt aus lutherischer Sicht

The Vaticanum II declares that the Lutheran ministry has a defectus ordinis. Pannenberg argues, that this roman-catholic judgement is not necessary, even from the roman-catholic point of view. First of all this judgment doesn't take into account the import interpretation of Titus 1,5-9 by Hieronymus. According to Hieronymus the two offices, bishop and priest, form a whole. Therefore is a presbyterial succession not a total break with the apostolic succession, which is regularly - but not solely - realised in episcopal succession. Further is to acknowledge, that Melanchthon has concede in the "Apologie" (1530), that the ordination as laying on of hands could be understood as a sacrament. So is no need for the roman-catholic church to insist, that there is a complete defectus ordinis in the Lutheran church.
