The aim of this contribution is to gain a new understanding of God. To thisend, the author reflects on central concepts of (Lutheran) theology and examines their coherence. Building on thoughts expounded in Parts I and II about "Justification, Scripture and Dogma" and "Trinity and the Holy Ghost", Part III of this paper calls for a new approach in theology.
