Merlin has survived the centuries on a remote island in the Atlantic. Along with a stag, and a number of elves and wolves he makes his way back to England. Upon entering into the lively world of modern Man, it becomes clear to him that today's mankind is no longer worthy of the 'Old Faith'. He is intent on traveling to Stonehenge in order to end his life there. However, his plan is undermined when he joins a traveling circus. He succeeds in enchanting the humans through the magic of his wisdom and his age...Jonathan Saunders was born in Bremen in 1962. After graduating high school he went on to study and receive a university degree in Frankfurt. He has been an associate in Africa since 1986.
