Rob Cole was orphaned in London, learning early the ways of the poor in disease - ridden eleventh century England. Apprenticed to an eccentric barber-suregon, he made his way across the land, husting, juggling, peddingcures to the sick - and discovering the mystical ways of healing. It was here, in his travel, that he found his own very real gift for healing a gift that urged him on to become a doctor.
